Summative Assessment: Use computer technology to research on a topic – 114076

TASK 1

You are to think of a research topic that relates to ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) in South Africa. Using that research, plan, conduct and present your research results using a defined computer application.

NB: Use the following guidelines;

1. Present a plan for the research. The plan must include;

• The topic, objective and scope of the research
• The time to be taken for the research, the research methods to be used and sources of information to be used
• The audience, presentation methods, the computer applications to be used for analysis of data and the presentation of results of the research.

TASK 2

1. Conduct the research and ensure that;

• The research conducted accumulates data according to the research plan. (Use questionnaires, interviews and internet articles to collect data about the research).
• The research conducted provides data analysis with conclusions.                                   

To answer this questions do the following

• Submit a copy of the questionnaire and interview checklist used in the research. Present them in Ms Word 2010.       
• Attach 3 copies of completed questionnaires.                                             
• Use charts and diagrams to present quantitative research data results (Ms Excel 2010)

Draw 4 findings and 4 conclusions from the collected research data (qualitative and quantitative) in Ms Word 2010.

TASK 3

2010. Present the results of the computer topic using Ms PowerPoint 2010. Summarise the research report using the following key sections;

• Cover page (include title of the research)
• Background to the research
• Literature review
• Research methods
• Data analysis, presentation and conclusion.
• Recommendations (if any)
• Reference section
