About Us

Greenchild project

Is a registered private college currently operating in the Western Cape. We have been exclusively servicing the disabled community as zero fees private training institution for the past six years

Accreditation

We are duly accredited with QCTO, Services SETA, MICT SETA, we are also accredited as ICDL Testing Centre, and we are currently awaiting the outcome of our accreditation application from ETDP SETA. We are also scheduled for our site visit to become accredited as a QCTO assessment centre for Contact Centre Managers and Computer Technicians. We will thus become the first of its kind in the Western Cape. We have submitted our Letters of Intent to also incorporate Agricultural training into our portfolio.

Accessibility

We are currently refining the development of our online learning platform for which we were selected to participate in the Grand Final Summit at AfricArena in 2021. The platform will enable students to study anywhere, even if they do not have a continued internet connection. The platform is already available in English, Xhosa and Afrikaans

Our Courses

We are ensuring the courses are available in the majority of home languages in the Western Cape. We are currently also doing our courses in Sign Language.

Our belief

is that easy, simple and barrierless access to quality education which can allow our citizens access to the skills needed to enable job creation and income generation is the starting point for economic and social prosperity.

Our Vision

Is to establish a Community Career Oriented College. We are aiming to provide training programmes and qualifications which can be directly linked to career opportunities and thus bridge the gap between formal education and immediate employability. Our aim is to have all South African languages available by the end of 2023.
